Throughout April and May at the FNS, students in the school worked on generating questions that would help with a scientific inquiry project of interest. Students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 explored various scientific topics, generated hypotheses and worked on experimental models. The final results were displayed in a school-wide Science Fair at the end of May.
Here are some of the Grade 8-9s!
Grade 1-2s showing off their creativity and artistic flare!
Grade 4-5s showing off their experimental models in action!
Overall, the students worked on building their scientific “curricular competencies” by working on a long-term inquiry project focused on the scientific processes of exploration and experimentation.
