MLFNS-Wuhan Hosts its Fall Readathon!

At MLFNS-Wuhan, we hold a yearly Readathon, which is a full day of reading and book-related activities. This event is to encourage a love of reading, and the students always enjoy spending their day reading and discussing with friends.

Students had the chance to bring in technology from home to read during class, or to listen to music while they read. Students also had a chance to wear their own “comfy” clothes as a special treat for the Readathon activities.

Throughout the day, students could enter into different raffle draws or a “guess-how-many-books-are-in-the-FNS-library” competition. Special prizes were awarded at the end of the day, including FNS House scarves, colouring books, and book giveaways.

Activities throughout the day included class-based reading activities, reading with technology, spending time in the library, spending time reading Mandarin books, reading with friends and buddies in the gym, a speed-reading competition, and bookmark-making crafts.

Overall, it was a great success!
